Portraits to me are faces, heads and bodies of a single person, photographed in various places, whether posed indoors in a studio, or outdoors, in the street.

I also like playing with composites, meaning superimposing a person on for instance a landscape. Time intensive to find after many attempts a landscape that gives that certain feeling in my gut that says yes. But that yes could change a day or two later when I try another combination with another land or sea- or city-scape. A wonderful creative way to enjoy a day. Instead of playing bridge or entertaining grandchildren. My beloved daughter has many four-footed children that she does not entrust to me for granny duty.
