Fantasy City: Views through the Mist Cape Town

Early morning or pre and post sunset, specially when mist engulfs the city, I plant my tripod with camera and 70 – 200 mm lens. I turn the focus ring to soften the outlines of building structures and. In order to create the bokeh (circular light patterns) in this out of focus image I shoot at my lens’s widest aperture of 2.8 f-stop. The idea is to suggest a scene from a dream state of mind.
